This review assesses the functionality of a thermometer and timer application designed for monitoring the temperature of candy and deep frying.

Thermometer Features:

• The application allows users to select from a variety of pre-set temperatures for different fried foods and candies, as well as the option to customize these settings.

• Users receive notifications via sound and/or vibration when the preset target temperature is attained, enhancing cooking precision.
• The temperature display can be toggled between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉) according to user preference.
• Up to four thermometer probes can be supported simultaneously, enabling users to assign specific fried foods or candies to each probe for tailored monitoring.
• The app features temperature plotting capabilities, allowing for real-time monitoring of temperatures as well as historical data representation in graphical format. Additionally, an RSSI feature indicates Bluetooth signal strength within range.
• Compatibility with the Extended Range Candy & Oil Deep Fry Thermometer CT-10 allows monitoring of temperatures from distances of up to 300 feet, making it a versatile option for cooking enthusiasts.

Timer Features:

• The application includes 12 settings for candy and 9 settings for deep frying, providing users with various options tailored to their cooking needs.
• Each timer setting can function as either a count-up or count-down timer. The count-up timer is particularly useful for tracking the duration of frying activities.
• Conversely, the count-down timer allows users to set a specific target frying time. Upon reaching zero, a notification (sound and/or vibration) alerts the user, ensuring timely awareness during cooking sessions.
